Grow Your Borders
Using Google Voice to communicate
with students can provide teachers
with a stress-free way to increase
teacher–student interactions. As an
intern teacher, my physical time in
the classroom is limited. There were
many occasions when I had to rush

off right after class and couldn’t stop
to answer questions or help students
who needed it.
With Google Voice, students have
virtual access to me around the clock.
They can text their questions, and
I can respond from wherever I am,
whenever it is convenient for me.
The more you use Google Voice in
the classroom, the more you will find
new ways to integrate this technology
