working as K– 12 teachers at the elementary, middle, and
high school levels, we feel confident that online critiques
are a welcome alternative to traditional discussions and
could potentially serve as an innovative platform for professional collaboration and development among educators
at all levels.
Tiffany Roman is a doctoral candidate studying instructional
systems technology at Indiana University, where she researches
secondary design education and technology integration in K– 12
environments. A licensed teacher, she has more than 10 years of
teaching experience.
Matthew Callison, an Apple Distinguished Educator,
is studying instructional systems technology at Indiana
University, Bloomington, on a doctoral fellowship. His
interests lie at the intersection of student-centered instructional methods, technology integration, and school redesign.
