How to Use This Magazine
After ISTE’s 40 years of publishing L&L ( iste.org/LL), it may
seem odd to talk about
how to use this member
benefit. But each June, we
welcome many new readers
because of ISTE’s Annual
Conference and Exposition
( isteconference.org), which
makes explaining how to
use it worthwhile.
L&L arrives in readers’
mailboxes (either e or snail)
eight times each year, start-
ing with the August issue
and ending with the June/
July issue. The contents are
divided into four sections:
Features, Learning Connec-
tions, Leading Connections,
and Products & Services. In
most articles, you’ll find links
to additional resources, such
as websites, books, articles,
and tools, allowing you to
delve deeper into a topic. At
least one feature per issue fo-
cuses on a “target topic.” See
Mary Burns’s story on page
14 for this issue’s target topic
feature on the future of
professional learning.
The Products & Services
section includes Buyer’s
Guide, Reviews, and What’s
New, which features announcements of new resources, tools, and more.
We also provide a digital
edition. An email announcing the latest issue goes out
to all members with a link.
You can also access it using
your member login via the
L&L website. The digital version has added functionality,
such as video and sharing
articles via social media.
The magazine is a key
professional learning tool
in your ISTE benefits tool-kit, and we hope you enjoy
reading it as much as we
enjoy producing it.
