Really interesting topic, with lots
of good examples to go along with
it. For improvement put a more
detailed description or definition
of structure and function because
the definition you have seems really weak.
Clearly, the student viewing the final project was engaged and thinking
critically about the topic.
Rubric Results
The rubric for this project gave stu-
dents a clear guide to help them create
multimedia products that enhanced
their understanding of the topic. The
teacher observed that the quality
of student work on this project was
dramatically improved over prior
years, when he simply instructed his
students to add a certain number of
links, videos, graphics, etc., related to
their assigned topics. Using the rubric
as a guide, most students linked to
websites that were more central to the
topic and identified sections of a web-
page to view or topics to be explored.
Likewise, most students embedded
videos that clearly added information
that further explained the main idea.
And in every case, they provided an
audio overview that identified the
central idea of the topic.
