One day your students

watch my lectures at home using their
school-issued Android tablets.
The next day in class, I check for
understanding by asking students to
help me complete an exercise. Then I
assign individual exercises to students
who need more help. Students can
also email me or see me for one-on-one help if they need it.
My favorite thing about Net Texts is
the ability to access files anywhere, even
without an internet connection. As long
as students have a device, they have
everything they need all in one place to
get their work done and stay organized.
Setting Up Courses
One thing to keep in mind is that it’s
easier to set up your units and course
first, and then add materials. When
you add new items after the course is
downloaded, students will need to
“re-sync” to receive and access new
content. This is sometimes difficult
for students to remember, so it’s best
to have your units complete before
the first day of class.
Overall, I have found Net Texts to
be very easy to use. Videos and tutorials help you accomplish whatever
you need to do. Using this tool, my
students can learn at their own pace,
and I can now spend more time working directly with them in the classroom instead of lecturing.
