Now giving you even more resources to be successful.
Some exciting new changes:
◾ New ISTE Connects—the Official Blog of ISTE
ISTE Connects is a web aggregator full of special news items,
photos, Ning threads, and so much more. As a powerful way
to connect to other colleagues, this blog demonstrates ISTE’s
embrace of new learning technologies, and provides real world
examples of how you can use innovative, free, and low cost
technology in instruction. Visit www.isteconnects.org to learn
more. More than 5,000 ISTE members are active participants
in ISTE-focused social media such as Twitter, Facebook, and
Nings. Join and be part of the sharing, debating, and innovating
in these environments.
◾ Learning & Leading with Technology—Digital Edition
Not only is this new medium much more dynamic with vibrant
content, but it is also much easier to search, share, and access
for all members.
◾ Special Interest Groups—Six newly added!
Colaborate and learn with your peers by joining one or more
topic- or role-based communities. There are currently 18 SIGs,
and they are now free to join. Previously if you had wanted to
join all, you would have paid more than $360. Now, access to
their great information is an added benefit of ISTE membership.
◾ New Membership Types—
Online memberships announced
Two new member types, International Online and Student
Online, allow new members to select new ways to be involved
while still retaining the high-quality offerings of ISTE resources.
Plus, the new Premium category includes 35% discounts on
publications, subscriptions to all ISTE journals, and access to
Webinar archives (an $800 value!).
